Fluid Art Workshop: Funky Flip Cup
Cost:
$55.00 per personDuration:
3hAbout this experience
Fluid Art, is an abstract painting technique that uses free-flowing acrylic paint.
In this workshop, you will learn the “flip cup” technique. This technique creates lots of fun and funky cells.
Jen will walk you through the basics and some of the science to ensure your artwork is as successful as possible. She'll explain why sometimes this art can go wrong and the ways you can avoid that happening. Jen will explain all about the colors, how they work together, and how to develop a color palette you love.
It looks so easy but there is a science behind it. Jen Skiba will take you on a creative journey as you take your first steps into Fluid Art. Experience the fun without the supply commitment.
Each painting will be 100% different, and the picture is an EXAMPLE of ONE STYLE of painting.
Once you've made your painting, it will dry at the store for a few days. We will contact you via e-mail once it is ready to be picked up!
This workshop is suitable for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced.

Your Host

I am a dog trainer by day and a painter by night. I think of myself as a “multi-passionate creative.” A creator. I created a successful business and am now allowing myself to create a life as a painter. Fluid art is the medium that allows me to be a conduit most easily. When I start to paint, there is a moment where I am no longer setting the course but along for the ride. The Spirit moves through me, through the paint, to express itself. As Olga Soby says, “I am not only the creator but also a tool.” I am moving in harmony with the universe to create one-of-a-kind art that can never be replicated. I hope others can see the movement and emotion in my pieces so that you will find a piece that speaks to your heart and look at it every day and smile.
